Anti-Tiling¶
Hides visible texture repetition on large surfaces: every hex cell gets a random offset and rotation. Asset (group 01 Textures), Vertex Blend / Mask Blend (per layer: R / G / B / Base), Landscape (per layer: L1–L4).
| Parameter / switch | What it does | Typical value |
|---|---|---|
Use Anti-Tiling? (R - / L1 - … per layer) |
Turns it on | big floors, walls, ground |
| Anti-Tiling Size | Hex size in texture tiles | 1; smaller = more variation, more visible seams |
| Anti-Tiling Rotation | Random rotation per hex | 1; 0 for planks, bricks, anything with a direction |
Tips¶
- Not with Use Virtual Textures? (the switch is skipped).
- Landscape uses the cheaper version automatically (2 reads instead of 3, no rotation).
- Cost: high, +140–215 instructions per layer (Landscape +52). Use it only where the repetition is really visible.
